We are looking for a Junior/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our busy and growing commercial team. The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated individual who is eager to learn. This role offers a great opportunity for progression to both Estimating and Quantity Surveying.
The role will be based in our London office in Greenwich.
The role
- To provide clear, timely and accurate information, advice, and report to section QS/SQS.
- Supporting senior members of the team in day-to-day management and delivery of projects
- Manage tender opportunities and relationships with current and potential clients
- You will be preparing cost feasibilities, approximate estimates, cost planning, bill of quantities, specifications, and schedule of rates
- Regularly updating standard cost databases and profiles
- Assist and be integral in advising on a procurement strategy
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveyor or similar construction-related field
- Past experience with construction projects is preferred
- Advanced user of MS Office, particularly in Excel /Project
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent negotiation skills
